You know, one thing that I have noticed about the modeling industry is that the sooner you start, the more popular you become. Don’t you believe me? Just look at all the top models; they were once teenage models.
They started their journey from teen vogue and ended up being the faces of famous brands. Nope, I’m not going to discuss models like Bella Hadid or Kendell Jenner.
In this article, you and I will be discussing teenage models who are less celebrated but have a high potential to be one of the top models in the near future.
Wait wait! We are not starting yet. First, you tell me who you consider being a good model. Is it a good face? Or good walking skills or just the vibe?
If you ask me, I love models who are more human. When I say more human, I mean models who are not just bodies walking on the ramp. They have a charm, smile, and obviously the ability to carry any kind of clothing gracefully.
Moreover, I also love models who don’t seem to be bothered by all the wardrobe malfunctions. They just don’t let people see them sweat. So, keeping all these things in mind, here are the models that I think have the potential to rule the industry very soon.
Table of Contents
Halima Aden
Nowadays, Models are not only a medium to display some clothes on the ramp. They are the faces of the new age, and any movement can be portrayed by them. Halima Adina did something similar.
As you have seen in the pictures, she is wearing a Hijab. Halima is one of those Hijab wearing models who made the world believe that the fashion industry is not only about showing skin but embracing adversity.
I loved her attitude and her courage to bring her custom and culture to the forefront. It is not at all an easy job. The model was born in a refugee camp in Kenya. After that, she moved to the USA and became the first Somali-American model to become Ms. Minnesota.
Moreover, she is also the first model to wear a hijab on the ramp, and she never compromised her values for her work. She just set a new parameter of what an ideal modeling industry should be like.
So, If you are someone who thinks that being western is the only way to look fashionable, you are wrong. Embrace your dupattas, gowns, or hijabs, and slay!
Tara Falla
Black women are just unbeatable. It does not matter whether they are teenage models or adult ones. I don’t know why they always stand apart.
Tara Falla started her journey in 2015. It was a luck-by-chance situation. It was a Sephora event in Paris. After that, her career started to bloom.
Throughout all these years, she has been a part of several fashion shows and brands like Elle India, Madame Figaro, Sicky Magazine, Vogue, etc.
Yeah, I know it looks like there is nothing special about the journey. I thought the same, but we should never judge a book by its cover. How many of you have seen models looking more than pretty?
Do you remember Gigi’s walk in that white dress? Yes, the hair flip. People went mad after it. Yes, Tara is also stunning in her work.
You know, it does not matter how weird the dress might look sometimes; she just adds elegance to it. I saw her picture in a big black dress; her eyes, and the way she was posing, were just insane. Perhaps this is what made it worth admiration.
Peter Raven
The modeling industry is leaning towards lean bodies now, and the teenage model that I am talking about now has the best lean body features. Peter Raven has this amazing facial feature that looks masculine and feminine at the same time.
Wait! Are you able to connect? Haha! Sorry! I sometimes forget that you guys might not feel the same way as I think. Okay, so let me put it this way.
Have you seen male models who look like women? Yes, but the fusion with men’s clothing looks awesome! Right? Yes, this is what I’m talking about.
Peter’s facial features are kind of a blend of masculine and feminine features. The more you will look at his pictures, the more you will realize how different he looks in each picture.
Perhaps this is the beauty of a true model, being the same person but not being the same model. I know it sounds contradictory. In some pictures, he looks innocent, but the camera spans, and he looks like a handsome vampire.
Hmmm, the perfect word to describe him would be “majestic.” Wow! What a compliment! I hope he will read this someday!
Luna Bijl
Now, let’s talk about some quick success stories, and this time, it is the model Luna Bijl. This Dutch model appeared on the Vogue cover twice a year. Yes, an exceptional moment. She showed her fans what it is like to be a top model.
Just imagine a teenage model is now among the top 50 models in the world. What a journey, what a story! This is why I always say that it does not matter whether a model is young or old; if she can slay, she will!
One of the most striking facts about young models is that they are willing to grab any kind of opportunity. They never say no. This is what Luna did.
Grabbing everything that came her way, and now she is at the top. The brands she has worked with so far are Louis Buttion, Chanel, Tom Ford, etc.
You know, I feel like she belongs to the 80s or 90s era when the glorification of women as royal or majestic was there. I saw some of her black-and-white pictures, and she looked exactly like she belonged to the same era.
Carrying all those netty veils, bold lips, and pearl necklaces, it just suits her. Even her very sober pictures have a touch of royalty.
Tami Williams
Another top model, another black woman. This girl was born in Jamaica. She is one of the top 50 models in the world. Currently, she lives in New York.
You know, when we talk about teenage models or models under 20, you need to keep one thing in mind, and that is, these models are young adults now, but when they started as teenagers, they were star performers.
It takes more than a decade to find another top model. So, we need to consider these young adult models while discussing teenage models.
So, what is so special about Tami Williams? Is it the brands she has worked with or something else? The brands she has worked on are Valentino, Dolce, Gabbana, Topshop, Gucci, etc.
But it does not make her unique. It is again the grace that she carries with her. You know, each model gives me a vibe, and the vibe I got from her is historical. Yes, her facial features are very defined.
If I can describe her as a model, that would be “confident.” She focuses on her eyes while shooting, and the confidence she holds is evident. The eyes say it all.
Noemie Abigail
So, I would describe Noemie Abigali as peaceful. Haha! No, I‘m not talking about her character but her modeling character. Her work in Couture fall of 2016 was considered outstanding. The pictures or her walks are so oddly smooth. It almost looks effortless.
Starting from purple eyes to braids, everything just syncs with her perfectly. Apart from that, I really like her smile. It makes her prettier.
This French model has curly hair like a black woman and caramel skin. What a beauty! Perhaps the contrast she has in her looks and in her modeling self is what attracts huge public attention to her.
Even if she has a blank face, it feels peaceful.
Piero Mendez
He is heavenly! Yes, just look at him. How can a person be so beautiful? His eyes, hair, his body, my god!
I know I sound like a fan girl now, but I cannot help it. In this world where guys are running behind beast-like bodies, Piero is flaunting his skinny body gracefully. While scrolling through his Instagram, it felt like I was looking at a teenager and again at a fully grown, furious man.
Hmmm, interesting character switch! A career switch, too, though. Yes, he would have been a soccer player if he didn’t choose to model. Piero Mendez is not a teenager anymore, but yes, he has been in the industry since his teenage years, and he is becoming more gorgeous with each passing year.
Final Words
It seems that someone said the right thing, “Anything French is more beautiful.” Have you noticed that all the French models are just so good at their work?
What if they start acting? It would be great! I love watching French movies on Netflix, and now I’m wondering whether I have seen them in those movies or not.
Well, in the end, your work talks, and these models have proved that your work can be great; you just need to put that spark in that.
